ABOUT SOUTH SUDAN BASKETBALL

The South Sudanese American Basketball Association was founded with the simple goal of building the future of our country though the game of basketball. Under the authority of the South Sudanese Basketball Federation, our organization works to fund our men’s and women’s national teams, strengthen the South Sudanese community in the United States, form youth teams to compete around the world and to enhance educational opportunities for our youth to help build the nation’s future. In the process we build champions, on and off the court.

​One of the newest nations on the globe, the South Sudan is one of the brightest basketball countries in the world! With a rich history on the hardwood ranging from Manut Bol to Two- time NBA All-Star, Luol Deng, the people of South Sudan celebrate their diversity and world presence on basketball’s greatest stages.

Support us as we continue our journey to spread basketball and peace throughout the world! Every contribution YOU make brings us one step closer to our dreams! The South Sudanese population across the country are forming youth teams in order to build the game and strengthen our community. A Semi Pro league is being planned and more and more of our youth will be attending college on full ride athletic scholarships.
